Key Responsibilities
System Integration: Spearhead the mapping and documentation of interfaces between legacy and modern systems to ensure seamless integration, high performance, and efficient data transfer.
Full Lifecycle Development: Execute comprehensive software development lifecycle (SDLC) tasks, encompassing requirements gathering, system design, software development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
Innovation & Product Development: Architect innovative technological solutions and actively participate in continuous product development initiatives.
Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain meticulous testing documentation for complete systems, upholding rigorous quality control standards and ensuring strict adherence to project timelines.
User Enablement: Produce detailed and accessible user manuals for newly implemented systems to facilitate smooth user adoption, minimize friction, and maximize overall system utilization.
Resource Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, featuring a strong focus on responsive web application development and complex system integration.
Core Technical Skills: Proven, hands-on expertise in programming and scripting languages including Java , PHP, Python, RESTful APIs, SQL, and shell scripting.
Advantageous Skills: Working knowledge or experience with Docker, Kubernetes, MS Power Platform, PowerBuilder, Sybase database, Jira, and test automation tools is highly preferred.
Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, demonstrating the ability to swiftly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues.
Communication: Solid written and verbal communication skills tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences, coupled with a strong, self-motivated commitment to task completion.
Language & Logistics: Fluency in both English and Cantonese is strictly required . This role requires an onsite presence in Hong Kong, as well as flexibility and availability for after-hours or weekend support during critical migration and cutover windows.
