Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Team Lead/Senior Full Stack Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is a prominent GovTech company offering a cloud-based ERP solution.
You'll lead the platform's small, senior development team. This is both a deeply hands-on engineering role and a technical leadership role: you build across the stack, with your center of gravity in the .NET 10 back end, set the patterns, lead one other senior full-stack engineer, partner with the QA automation engineer, and are accountable for what the team ships. This is a small, senior team by design. We are not looking for people who wait to be handed fully specified tickets. We are looking for engineers who can take an ambiguous problem, reason about it critically on their own, choose a defensible path, and own the outcome end to end. This role sits at the center of a tight senior triangle. You partner daily with the Product Owner, who owns the functional and design specifications, and with the Platform Architect, who owns the architecture specifications and platform-wide technical direction. Your job is to turn both into working software: translate the Product Owner's functional and design specs into sound service and API designs, implement them faithfully within the architecture the Architect sets, and own the delivery of that work through your team, one other senior full-stack engineer and the QA automation engineer.
About the team: They build the platform layer that integrates government-software products, the connective tissue every customer and every product team depends on. That means a personalized Home Portal (an Angular single-page app), a .NET backend-for-frontend that aggregates two dozen module APIs, centralized user management and identity across every acquired application, a unified API management edge, and automated customer provisioning.
The stack is Angular 19 on the front end and ASP.NET Core on .NET 10 / C# on the back end, with Auth0, Azure API Management, EF Core and Dapper against Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, and Redis, all on Azure. The architecture the team set up now will be held for years.
Requirements
- Strong experience in production development with C#/.NET and Azure. You know how distributed systems fail and how to build ones that do not.
- In-depth understanding of back-end development, but also you have confident experience with Angular/ TypeScript for the front end, enough to design across the boundary, review it, and ship it when needed.
- Working ownership. You have designed non-trivial systems, made the hard trade-offs, and lived with the results, and can explain why you chose what you chose.
- Technical leadership. You set direction and lead through clarity and example, not gatekeeping.
- Uncompromising accountability. You own the reliability and security of what the team ships. When it is wrong, you say so first, and you fix the cause.
- Independent, defensible thinking. You form your own view from first principles, invite challenge, and can be moved by a better argument, and you expect the same of your team.
- You own features from problem statement to production and beyond. When something you built breaks at 2 a.m., you want to know why and fix the root cause, not paper over it.
- You hold yourself to the standard before anyone else has to. You say what you will deliver, deliver it, and flag risk early and honestly when reality changes.
- You find the next most valuable thing to do and start it without being told. Blockers are problems you drive to resolution, not reasons to stop.
- Independent critical thinking. You question assumptions, including your own and ours. You can defend a technical decision with reasoning and trade-offs, disagree with a senior voice when the evidence supports you, and change your mind when it does not.
- You bring options to the table, not just problems. You find the simple design hiding inside a complicated requirement, and you are willing to challenge how it has always been done.
- You are not a passive implementer of either. We expect you to pressure-test a spec when something does not add up, surface technical constraints and trade-offs the Product Owner needs to weigh, and
- push back on a decision when the evidence warrants, bringing options and a recommendation, not just objections.
- Clear, early, honest communication in both directions is the core of the role.
Nice to have
- Experience with FastEndpoints, .NET Aspire, Clean Architecture, and service-oriented (non-CQRS) designs.
- Experience with Azure SQL performance work, EF Core migrations, and multi-schema / multi-tenant data design.
- Understanding of Angular/Blazor for front-end, and a track record of mentoring senior engineers in a government / public-sector, ERP, or multi-tenant SaaS context.
- Experience in integrating LLMs, RAG, or AI agents into product features, beyond using an AI code assistant.
- Understanding of building and owning CI/CD pipelines and release management in Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with GitHub (including GitHub Actions) and Jira as the team migrates toward these tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead by doing: write and review the hardest code, design the critical paths, and set the standard for FastEndpoints, FluentResults, testing, error handling, and observability across the .NET 10 services (backend-for-frontend, user management, and more) on Azure.
- Own identity, authorization, and tenancy correctness across Auth0, Azure API Management, and the service layer, where mistakes are security incidents.
- Guide EF Core and Dapper data design against Azure SQL for correctness and performance at scale, no N+1s, no accidental cross-tenant reads, no surprise table scans.
- Work across the stack when delivery calls for it, including the Angular 19 front end, so no part of the platform stalls on a single person.
- Shape the messaging and integration backbone, Azure Service Bus events between the platform and the acquired module teams.
- Lead the team day-to-day, mentor the other engineer, run pragmatic design and code reviews, and create the conditions for senior people to do their best work.
- Represent the platform in cross-team architecture decisions and defend those decisions with clear reasoning and trade-offs.
