We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead security and compliance programs supporting regulated markets. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of high-impact, technically complex programs that directly support company growth, including FedRAMP 20x, SOC 1 Type II, and SOC 2 Type I, while working closely with engineering, security, and leadership teams.

This is a hands-on technical program management role for someone who can manage complex programs while working comfortably with cloud infrastructure, security controls, technical documentation, and compliance evidence.

W2 contract opportunity (6-9 months) with Full Benefits and potential extension or conversion to full-time. Hybrid onsite 2-3 days per week in Kent, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Own program plans, timelines, dependencies, and status for FedRAMP and SOC compliance initiatives.
  • Drive engineering and security teams to close control gaps and meet audit requirements.
  • Manage the end-to-end compliance evidence process and coordinate with external auditors/assessors.
  • Translate security and compliance requirements into actionable technical work.
  • Gather and validate evidence across AWS, GitHub, and compliance platforms.
  • Maintain security policies, procedures, control documentation, and audit artifacts.
  • Provide concise, data-driven updates to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Build repeatable processes for continuous monitoring and evidence collection.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical program or project management experience.
  • Experience leading or supporting a security compliance or certification program, such as SOC 2, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, or CMMC.
  • Strong understanding of security controls and the ability to translate requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Comfortable working with AWS and cloud security concepts.
  • Scripting experience with Python, TypeScript, or a comparable language.
  • Practical Git/GitHub experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred

  • FedRAMP 20x / KSI experience.
  • AWS GovCloud or other government cloud experience.
  • Experience with ITAR, defense, or aerospace environments.
  • Experience working with third-party assessors or government certification programs.
  • Familiarity with compliance platforms such as Vanta, Drata, or Paramify.
  • Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and security automation.
