About Us

MSRK Lifecare Foundation is a newly established non-profit organization dedicated to promoting better health, well-being, and equal access to care through education, community initiatives, and compassionate support. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Website Developer (WordPress) to help build, maintain, and enhance our online presence. Your work will play a key role in ensuring our website effectively communicates our mission and engages supporters, volunteers, and donors.

Role Overview

As a Website Developer (WordPress) Volunteer , you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the MSRK Lifecare Foundation website. You will ensure the website is secure, responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance while working closely with our team to implement new features and content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update the Foundation's WordPress website.
  • Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet organizational needs.
  • Ensure the website is responsive, mobile-friendly, and optimized for speed and performance.
  • Add and update website content, pages, blogs, images, and multimedia.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility.
  • Monitor website security, perform backups, and keep WordPress, themes, and plugins up to date.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve website bugs promptly.
  • Integrate third-party tools such as contact forms, newsletters, donation platforms, analytics, and social media.
  • Collaborate with the communications and marketing team to support campaigns and organizational initiatives.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance user experience and website functionality.

Qualifications

  • Experience developing and managing WordPress websites.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar).
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP is an asset.
  • Experience with website optimization, SEO, and performance improvements.
  • Understanding of website security and backup best practices.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other web tools is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet agreed timelines.
  • Passion for supporting community, healthcare, or non-profit initiatives.
