About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Developer with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, front-end technologies, and website optimization techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes.
- Configure and customize WordPress plugins to meet business requirements.
- Build responsive and user-friendly web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress page builders.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.
- Ensure website security and perform regular updates and backups.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to implement website enhancements.
- Integrate third-party APIs, forms, payment gateways, and other web services as required.
- Conduct website testing and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin customization.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL.
- Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
- Understanding of website hosting, domain management, and cPanel.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working with WooCommerce websites.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
