Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a leading financial services client in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong backend expertise in Java along with modern frontend development experience using React. This is a hands-on development role working on mission-critical enterprise applications in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and React.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.js.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies and CI/CD best practices.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Solid experience with React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working in the Banking or Financial Services domain is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
