Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a capable Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. This role involves strong back-end development in Java and Java EE, coupled with front-end work using modern web technologies. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features, optimize performance, and support continuous integration and delivery within an Agile environment. The role contributes to the organization’s digital initiatives by delivering reliable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
Software Requirements
Required Skills (Essential)
Proficiency in Java and Java EE (including Spring, Hibernate, and JSF) for enterprise application development
Front-end experience with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as React.js or Angular
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL data modeling/optimization
Version control experience with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
Experience with build and packaging tools (Maven or Gradle)
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines)
Understanding of SDLC/Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills
Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deployment and integration
Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) for back-end and front-end testing
Familiarity with microservices architecture and API gateway patterns
Exposure to NoSQL databases or data warehousing concepts
Overall Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications with strong Java back-end and modern front-end components
Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards
Troubleshoot performance, security, and reliability issues across the stack
Contribute to architecture decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes
Maintain comprehensive documentation, technical specifications, and deployment procedures
Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing and best practices

4–9 years of experience in enterprise Java full-stack development
Proven track record delivering scalable applications with a mix of back-end Java and front-end technologies

Cross-functional collaboration with product, QA, and operations teams
Industry experience in finance, banking, or other regulated sectors is a plus

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Relevant certifications in Java, web development, or cloud platforms are advantageous
