We’re Hiring: Java/Python + Spark Developer
Location: Rutherford, NJ || Jersey City, NJ
Job Description:
- Expert level knowledge of core Java concepts and framework such as (Django, Fast API :: Python) || (Spring Boot, Microservices :: Java) and well versed with OOPs concepts and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (with Java or Python).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Extensive development expertise in building the high scaled and performant software platforms for data computation and processing.
- Knowledge of containerized deployments and cloud-native architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile software development and DevOps best practices.
- Experience with caching solutions like Pinot, Redis etc.
- Experience with relational and/or document-oriented databases.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
- Ability to translate business and analytical requirements into efficient technical solutions.
- Ability to guide junior staff, influence technical direction, and manage multiple initiatives in parallel.
- Typically, 8+ years of relevant experience building large-scale, production-grade systems, with demonstrated depth in Java OR Python -based backend development and distributed system design.
- Background in financial services, especially within Market Risk or FinTech.
