The School of Dentistry Department of Endodontics has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Assistant to join their team.

About this Opportunity

Reporting to the Department Administrator, this position provides comprehensive administrative support for both predoctoral and graduate endodontics programs. The Program Assistant interacts with a diverse set of stakeholders, including but not limited to, faculty, affiliate faculty, graduate and predoctoral students, government agencies, professional dental agencies, private sector sponsors, and other departments within the University of Washington. The role involves coordinating projects, supporting admissions and student activities, managing records and fiscal processes, and serving as a key point of contact for departmental operations.

This is a full-time position in the Endodontics Department which is located on the 6th Floor, D Wing of the Magnuson Health Science Building. The job is onsite and is not eligible for teleworking.

The salary information provided below is for a full-time position.

  • Program & Administrative Support 35%
  • Event & Meeting Coordination 30%
  • Financial & Travel Administration 20%
  • Recordkeeping & Compliance 5%
  • Serve as primary contact for vendors and external partners 5%
  • Represent the department at meetings or conferences as needed 5%

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduation or equivalent AND Two years of clerical experience.
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Additional Qualifications

  • Required to be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop.

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$45,144.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$55,824.00 annual
