Job Title Software Automation Test Engineer - Python, .NET
Job Description The successful candidate will be part of the Test Automation & Tools Development team, involved in delivering software solutions that enable automated testing of the latest automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies. They will develop and maintain automated test scripts, a test framework, and test tools.
Responsibilities
Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements and implement required test tools and test scripts.
Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with target under test.
Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing.
Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with test management system and defect tracking system.
Contribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum development sprints.
Required Skills
Python development – 3+ years of experience.
Experience with automated testing environment and frameworks (e.g., Slash).
Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins).
Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
Preferred Skills
REST APIs.
Experience with test case management and defect tracking systems (e.g., TestRail, Jira).
SQL/database experience.
Ability to work in a multi‑site team environment where self‑driven and self‑motivated capabilities are key.
Education Bachelor’s Degree.
Location Onsite, KANATA, ON CANADA.
