Software Automation Test Engineer - Python, .NET
Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of the Test Automation & Tools Development team, involved in delivering software solutions that enable automated testing of the latest automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies. They will develop and maintain automated test scripts, a test framework, and test tools.
Responsibilities
- Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements and implement required test tools and test scripts.
- Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with target under test.
- Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing.
- Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with test management system and defect tracking system.
- Contribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum development sprints.
Required Skills
- Python development – 3+ years of experience.
- Experience with automated testing environment and frameworks (e.g., Slash).
- Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins).
- Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
Preferred Skills
- REST APIs.
- Experience with test case management and defect tracking systems (e.g., TestRail, Jira).
- SQL/database experience.
- Ability to work in a multi‑site team environment where self‑driven and self‑motivated capabilities are key.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree.
