Overview
Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for an Entry Level Software Developer in Saint Paul, MN. As a recent or upcoming graduate, you will have opportunities to expand your skill set and expertise in full stack web development. Responsibilities
Participate as a member of a project team on a variety of development projects
Work with team members and business partners to determine project requirements and enhancements based on business and user needs
Develop applications and creative solutions based on project requirements
Apply enhancements to existing solutions
Implement and support applications post deployment
Quickly evaluate bugs, and apply hot fixes to resolve issues
Research new and innovative development technologies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, or related field
0-2 years of related work experience or internship(s)
Familiarity with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle
Experience with Microsoft ecosystem (Outlook, Teams)
Self-starter who works well with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Technical Skills:
Full stack responsive web development (HTML, CSS, .NET, C#, JavaScript, and SQL)
Modern web development frameworks (Blazor, Angular, React, or Vue)
Backend development including APIs, controllers, services, and data access (.NET)
Office hours are 7:30am – 5:30pm Monday – Thursday and 7:30am – 11:30am Friday.
Salary Range: $85,000-95,000
Eligible for Performance Based Bonus Compensation
