Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in designing developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in modern Android development follow best coding practices and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable secure and high performing mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop test and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Build responsive scalable and user-friendly mobile applications following Android best practices.
- Develop clean reusable and maintainable code using MVVM Clean Architecture and Repository patterns.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Work closely with Product Owners UIUX Designers QA Engineers and Backend Developers throughout the SDLC.
- Optimize application performance memory usage battery consumption and responsiveness.
- Write unit tests and UI tests to ensure application quality.
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Ensure compliance with security privacy and coding standards.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
- Stay updated with emerging Android technologies and recommend improvements.
Required Skills:
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Experience with Android SDK and Android Jetpack components.
- Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and Clean Architecture principles.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and XML based UI development.
- Knowledge of Coroutines Flow Live Data and View Model.
- Experience integrating REST APIs using Retrofit or similar libraries.
- Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
- Experience with Room Database and SQLite.
- Understanding of Material Design guidelines.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Experience using Git and Git based workflows.
- Familiarity with CICD pipelines for Android applications.
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
