Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Technical Lead with extensive experience in delivering enterprise applications within an IT services environment. The candidate should possess strong technical leadership skills, hands-on development expertise, and experience managing teams delivering fixed-cost engagements. Candidates with banking and financial services experience will be preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and development of Python-based enterprise solutions.
- Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle.
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.
- Lead technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Review code, enforce development standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Prepare technical estimates, project plans, and solution approaches for fixed-price projects.
- Guide development teams in resolving complex technical challenges.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Owners, and Project Managers for successful project delivery.
- Mentor engineers and support capability building within the organization.
- Ensure adherence to security, performance, and coding best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Essential skills
- Strong expertise in Python.
- Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and distributed systems.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and code quality tools.

- Banking or Financial Services project experience is highly preferred.
