We're looking for an experienced software engineer who enjoys building cloud-native applications and taking ownership from design to deployment. You are passionate about writing quality code, automating software delivery, and continuously improving application reliability.

This opportunity is open exclusively to candidates based outside the Philippines with a 1-year project engagement and alignment to Manila business hours.

Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise applications using Java and/or Node.js with React.

• Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and modern cloud architectures.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Container Apps, API Management, and Azure Service Bus.

• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Docker, and container-based deployments.

• Familiarity with TDD, Trunk-Based Development, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

• A continuous learning mindset and willingness to adopt new technologies.

• Relevant cloud, DevOps, or Kubernetes certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent) are a plus.

• Design, develop, and maintain modern full-stack applications.

• Build scalable APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.

• Automate infrastructure and deployment pipelines using DevOps best practices.

• Develop secure, reliable, and high-performing applications on Microsoft Azure.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve application performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Contribute to engineering standards and continuously improve our development practices.

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Manila Time (must align with the client's business calendar and holidays)
